When normal worry or nervousness becomes intense, long-lasting or out of proportion to your life situation, you may be struggling with anxiety.
Some common symptoms of anxiety:
Trembling, twitching, or shaking
Fatigue
Sleep problems such as interrupted, unsatisfying sleep
Muscle tension, aches or soreness
Lightheadedness or dizziness
Sweating or cold, clammy hands
Excessive startle reflex
Breathlessness or rapid heartbeat
Restlessness, irritability, or feeling on edge or keyed up
Excessive worrying. Obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors.
Excessive fear of specific things or situations
Fearing that something bad is going to happen
Inability to concentrate
Feelings of panic
Anxiety disorders can affect our personal relationships, our ability to perform daily tasks and our quality or life.
